Traffic as the areas were in Hurricane Evacuation Routes and involved heavy
traffic routes.

· Contract involved adding lanes and reconstruction 0n
two separate sections of SR 207. First project was 3.4 miles of an existing
two lane undivided section being converted to a four lane median section with
curbs & gutter. The second section involved converting 5.7 miles of
existing two lane undivided section to a four lane divided Rural Highway

Superintendent/ Construction Coordinator - 8 months
· Project: Fuller Warren Bridge Jacksonville, FL. A
multiple lane bridge 10.7 miles in length and 120 feet in height spanning
downtown Jacksonville to help relieve traffic congestion. Several miles of
storm drain in sizes ranging from 26 inch to 70 inch along with several
detention ponds of different sizes. Curb, gutter and sidewalk placement at
existing roadways that the bridge spanned and landscaping of exposed ground.
· Duties: I was brought in at the end of this
five-year project to coordinate crew activities, duties and to keep them
supplied and working.
· Oversight on Maintenance of Traffic due to traffic
being rerouted for crews to work on the top of the Bridge, mainly at night.
Survey work on the detention ponds and landscape areas, instructed dive team
as they inspected and repaired the storm drain.
· Managed asphalt and concrete placement and repairs,
all finish work in all areas and final inspection of the Project.

· Projects: Beaver Street Viaduct Jacksonville, FL.
Project consisted of a new Viaduct spanning eight sets of railroad tracks
with asphalt roadway, curb & gutter, sidewalk, storm drain, fencing,
conduit with electric lines inside, parking lots for existing businesses and
landscaping of exposed areas.
· J.E.A. Northside Generating Station Jacksonville,
Fl. Project involved building several asphalt roadways leading to the site of
the concrete roadway over the water. Crane and track dock 1 mile in length
that the concrete roadway connected to. Several Mooring Dolphins at various
locations around the dock.
· Duties: Crew Chief of survey crew in charge of
surveying all new construction work.
· Calculated all asphalt and concrete quantities
needed, coordinated all work crew activities and kept them supplied.
Inspected all areas of work and performed final inspection of Project.
